Credit and Collections Specialist (Finance)

What you will do

• Collect outstanding balances from assigned commercial accounts.
• Follow up on disputes and coordinate resolutions with salespeople and customers.
• Approve order and ticket releases for credit accounts.
• Answer account and statement questions and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Audit assigned work, complete trade references, and maintain accurate records.
• Provide routine clerical support and handle additional projects as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of credit and collections experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, take ownership, communicate effectively, and meet critical deadlines.
• Strong and accurate data-entry skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Availability to work approximately 25 hours per week in the Raleigh office.

Nice to have

• Experience with commercial credit reports and commercial banking platforms.
• SAP experience.
