Sr Full Stack Software Engineer (Python)

Location: Remote, but residence is required in Chicago, the DC/Baltimore metropolitan area, Louisville, or Dallas/Frisco. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $106,900–$147,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack software solutions across Agile teams.
• Build frontend applications and distributed microservices using modern full-stack technologies.
• Develop cloud-native solutions on Azure, AWS, GCP, or similar platforms, including Kubernetes-based systems.
• Write REST APIs, technical documentation, and automated tests for reliable and efficient software.
• Influence technical direction during discovery, planning, implementation, and maintenance.
• Apply modern development standards and best practices across the software lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and relevant IT experience.
• At least 4 years of Python programming and software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years with Angular, React, or Vue, and at least 2 years with Java or Node.
• At least 1 year with a cloud service such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• At least 1 year building micro frontends and/or microservices.
• Must reside in one of the specified U.S. locations and maintain a dedicated, interruption-free workspace for PHI/HIPAA-protected information.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree and advanced Microsoft Azure experience.
• Experience building domain-driven microservices and cloud-native software.
• Knowledge of Sass, W3C web standards, web performance, cross-browser compatibility, modular design patterns, and content management.
