Manufacturing Technician - Assembly

What you will do

• Assemble and test dry gas seals in test cells using hand and power tools.
• Clean seal components, update incoming-seal records, and maintain test-cell component data and storage locations.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and prepare accurate documentation for test-cell operations.
• Complete weekly 5S audits and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain productivity and safety standards while participating in daily SPQCD meetings.
• Train other technicians when required and perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in the oil and gas or rotating equipment industry.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Skill in fine measurements and precision assembly.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of continuous improvement methods and associated tools.

Nice to have

• Experience assembling or testing gas seals.
