What you will do

• Lead daily CNC turning and milling operations across one or more production areas and shifts.
• Schedule resources and monitor safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance.
• Develop, cross-train, and support shop-floor employees while assisting with hiring, evaluations, and workforce planning.
• Resolve operational escalations and coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Procurement, Maintenance, and Production Control.
• Improve manufacturing processes, inventory accuracy, machine utilization, throughput, and on-time delivery.
• Promote safety, accountability, Lean Manufacturing, and data-driven operational excellence.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience with CNC operation and setup principles, tooling, online and offline programming, machine controls, metal machining, lathes, mills, and manual machine tools.
• Knowledge of MES, LES, and ERP systems; QAD is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Power BI, and reporting services is useful.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on-site in the Pasadena machine shop, handle physical shop-floor requirements, lift up to 35 pounds, and adapt to changing shift assignments.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree or equivalent education.
• At least 3 years of experience with metal machining and CNC tooling.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and reporting services.
