What You Will Do

• Manage, supervise, and lead machine shop operations across three shifts.
• Schedule personnel and production activities to meet customer demand, delivery, lead-time, quality, and cost objectives.
• Plan human and material resources, control workflow, manage budgets, and purchase tooling, supplies, and capital equipment.
• Drive productivity improvements and expand internal manufacturing capabilities through cost and capacity analysis.
• Advance automation, machine tending, robotics, laser welding, and polishing technologies.
• Enforce safety, quality, 5S, Lean Management, and continuous improvement programs while monitoring performance metrics.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a machine shop or fabrication environment.
• At least 5 years of experience in supervision or a group lead role.
• Experience with CNC, fabrication, polishing, water jet, plastics, and welding equipment.
• Strong mechanical, machine shop, welding, blueprint, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of material control functions, ERP systems, and capacity planning modules.
• Bachelor’s or technical degree and documented Lean training or certification are highly preferred.
