Asset Manager

Location: Dallas/Plano, Texas, United States; 30% travel required.

What you will do

• Negotiate new leases and renewals directly or through third-party leasing brokers.
• Drive operational efficiencies, revenue enhancement, and value-add strategies across the portfolio.
• Direct property managers, leasing agents, brokers, consultants, attorneys, and contractors on business plans, budgets, lease approvals, and capital projects.
• Prepare recurring portfolio reports and support quarterly and annual asset valuations.
• Oversee property inspections, tenant relationships, construction management, and capital improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the acquisitions team on due diligence and evaluation of potential investments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, or a related field with strong academic achievement.
• 7–10+ years of commercial real estate asset management, principal-based leasing, or related experience.
• Experience with financial analysis, asset-level financial statements, lease management, and performance metrics.
• Knowledge of real estate accounting, design and construction processes, and capital improvement strategies.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, interpersonal, and conflict-management skills.
• Experience with Yardi, Microsoft Office 365, and Excel; Argus experience is a plus.

• Graduate degree in finance, real estate, or a related field.
