What you will do

• Own monthly financial close activities, including accruals, accounts receivable reviews, capital expenditure distributions, billings, variance reports, and rent roll reconciliations.
• Lead annual budgets, reforecasts, operating expense reconciliations, and custom financial reporting for the industrial portfolio.
• Partner with Property Managers, Corporate Accounting, tenants, and clients to resolve accounting, lease, CAM, collection, and settlement issues.
• Review lease abstracts, configure operating expense recoveries, manage CAM reconciliation inquiries, and oversee tenant audits.
• Ensure transaction compliance, monitor vendor and tenant insurance records, and maintain accurate certificates of insurance through NetVendor.
• Provide Yardi and accounting-system mentoring, training, and support; supervisory responsibility may be added based on portfolio needs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in commercial property management with significant financial responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced accounting knowledge covering accruals, general ledger review, and full-cycle financial reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial lease recovery language and lease types, including NNN, base year or expense stop, gross-ups, caps, options, and termination fees.
• Proficiency with Yardi and/or MRI, with the ability to work across Impak and NetVendor.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, analytical ability, attention to detail, communication, organization, and independent problem-solving skills.
