What you will do

• Review and edit copy across email, paid social, digital display, web, and video scripts for five institutions.
• Partner with Legal to review content against regulations and compliance standards, flagging language risks and required disclosures.
• Optimize content for SEO and AI search visibility using best practices for generative engine optimization (GEO).
• Review AI-generated and AI-assisted content for factual accuracy, regulatory compliance, and brand appropriateness.
• Develop and maintain compliance checklists and editorial review frameworks for each institution.
• Collaborate with CRM Campaign Managers and Strategy leads to ensure marketing content is compliant with federal and state regulations.

Requirements

• Experience in copy editing or content compliance within regulated industries such as higher education, healthcare, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of US higher education marketing regulations, including FTC guidelines and accreditation claim standards.
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals and how content structure affects visibility in AI-generated environments (e.g., ChatGPT, Google AI Mode).
• Experience applying rigorous human oversight to AI-produced copy.
• Exceptional command of written American English (grammar, style, and precision).
• Ability to work in high-volume, deadline-driven environments with multiple concurrent review queues.
