Production Specialist (Instructional Design)

Location: Altus, Oklahoma, USA; only U.S. citizens are eligible due to U.S. Government contract requirements. The role is performed in a professional office environment, with occasional work near training systems and possible domestic or international travel.

What you will do

• Develop, edit, format, and review technical courseware, assessments, presentations, and interactive instructional materials.
• Apply ISD principles and systematic curriculum-development processes across comprehensive training programs.
• Collaborate with SMEs, project managers, customers, and Courseware Configuration Working Groups to align objectives, sequencing, and instructional methods.
• Create and integrate 2D and 3D graphics, digital photographs, and supporting materials into classroom, web, and simulator instruction.
• Conduct peer, editorial, and final quality reviews; support trial instruction and courseware evaluations.
• Track courseware issues, assist with root-cause analysis, and improve learning tools, templates, and development processes.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience producing interactive course materials or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years of professional experience using systematic approaches to curriculum development.
• Experience with Learning Content Management Systems and self-paced, interactive instructional content.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must be eligible for a DoD Personal Security Clearance.
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and access simulator or cockpit training environments when required.

Nice to have

• Experience developing aviation-related training products.
• Experience with Outstart Evolution.
• Basic HTML5 proficiency and advanced use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.
• Understanding of military protocols and customs.
