Clinical Instructional Designer (Mental Health)

Location: Fully remote within the United States, with travel required up to 30% of the time for in-person training.

Salary: $80,000–$92,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop clinical content, curricula, and training materials using modern instructional design and engagement techniques.
• Deliver engaging virtual and in-person clinical training for a dedicated enterprise customer.
• Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to identify training needs and tailor programming to workforce requirements.
• Apply the ADDIE model and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and outcome metrics.
• Coordinate end-to-end training logistics, including virtual event platforms, clinical provider selection, materials, and evaluation tracking.
• Support the expansion of clinical training offerings and advise large enterprise customers on programming plans.

Requirements

• Unrestricted clinical license to practice psychotherapy, such as Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LMHC; applicants requiring clinical supervision cannot be accepted.
• At least 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience, including at least 1 year of post-licensure experience.
• Professional experience in instructional design and content development.
• Background in corporate training or public speaking, with knowledge of adult learning, virtual engagement, and training evaluation.
• Strong virtual facilitation skills and proficiency with Google Suite, Zoom, and webinar or event platforms.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for working with corporate customers and internal stakeholders.
