Senior Product Owner (AI Research & Ontology): Managing the development of AI research initiatives, semantic search, ontology and metadata frameworks, and AI-powered product capabilities with an accent on knowledge retrieval, RAG, and scalable product architecture. Focus on translating research and experimentation into customer-facing products, coordinating complex dependencies, and aligning research, engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders.

What you will do
- Define and prioritize AI research, semantic search, ontology, metadata, and AI-powered product initiatives.
- Shape product strategies, roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for AI-enabled capabilities.
- Collaborate with Product, Research, Architecture, Engineering, Data, UX, and business teams to translate technical concepts into scalable customer-facing solutions.
- Guide initiatives from research, experimentation, and prototyping through validation, productization, and delivery.
- Coordinate delivery across multiple products, managing dependencies, ownership transitions, handoffs, risks, and stakeholder alignment.
- Coach Product Owners and promote product management best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner.
- Experience delivering cloud-based software and applying Agile methodologies and prioritization frameworks.
- Understanding of distributed systems, APIs, microservices, modern software architecture, data platforms, and system interoperability.
- Knowledge of ontology management, taxonomy design, knowledge representation, semantic technologies, metadata frameworks, or information architecture.
- Experience with semantic search, RAG, vector databases, knowledge discovery, LLMs, AI evaluation, and AI governance.
Nice to have
- Experience transitioning research and experimental initiatives into scalable product capabilities.
- Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and other product management tools.
- Experience coaching junior Product Owners.
