Senior Procurement Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead procurement strategy, policies, and controls across multiple sites and business units in the United States and UK/EMEA.
• Deliver annual cost savings through negotiation, should-cost modeling, competitive bidding, and value engineering.
• Reduce tariff and trade costs through alternative and dual sourcing, tariff engineering, free-trade programs, and duty drawback.
• Model duties, freight, currency, and lead-time risks to guide total-cost and supplier-footprint decisions.
• Partner with R&D and Engineering on supplier qualification and sourcing for new product introductions and prototypes.
• Develop supplier relationships, manage performance and risk, improve procurement systems, and coach buyers across sites.

Requirements

• 8+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, including 3+ years leading teams.
• Demonstrated cost savings in a manufacturing environment and experience across multiple sites or international operations.
• Working knowledge of global trade, tariffs, HTS classification, and landed cost.
• Hands-on NPI sourcing experience and strong collaboration with Engineering.
• Strong negotiation, supplier-management, ERP, analytics, Oracle EBS, Power BI, and Excel skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Nice to have

• MBA, supply chain master’s degree, CPSM, CSCP, or APICS certification.
• Experience with electronics, motion control, or precision-engineered products.
• Oracle EBS R12 ASCP/MRP, SAP, outsourced-process experience, or Lean/Six Sigma training.
