Global Commodity Manager

What you will do

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for metal fabrication, hardware, optics, packaging, and hand tools.
• Manage preferred suppliers and supplier relationships to improve quality, delivery, cost, and working capital.
• Develop and implement supply chain processes and procedures.
• Coordinate activities across commodities and procurement professionals through dotted-line leadership.
• Lead sourcing workshops and kaizen activities, and train acquisition associates on sourcing tools and processes.
• Coach, mentor, and support supply chain team members while participating in corporate commodity initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, sourcing, supply chain, or procurement.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education in sourcing and supply chain.
• Proficiency in procurement software and relevant computer applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global, and multicultural environment.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and manage change effectively.
