TL;DR
Senior Manager, Global Sourcing (NPD): Leading strategic sourcing and supplier development for new product programs across Water, Security, and Outdoors business units with an accent on stage gate governance and risk mitigation. Focus on optimizing the NPD lifecycle, improving execution speed, and managing global supplier relationships to ensure launch readiness.
Location: Hybrid: Must be based in Deerfield, IL (reporting to HQ 3x per week)
Salary: $124,000 – $190,000 USD

What you will do
- Lead the Global Sourcing NPD portfolio across multiple business units, aligning with innovation roadmaps.
- Manage sourcing deliverables within the stage gate process, ensuring cost, quality, and launch readiness.
- Directly manage and develop a team of Global Sourcing NPD Project Managers.
- Partner with category leaders to integrate early supplier involvement (ESI) and DFM/DFA reviews.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, and Manufacturing.
- Improve global NPD sourcing processes and tools using ERP/PLM systems like SAP and Oracle.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or NPD leadership.
- Proven track record in a stage gate NPD environment.
- Demonstrated experience in people leadership and professional development.
- Strong background in manufacturing sourcing and supplier development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent.
Nice to have
- Experience with global manufacturing and supply bases.
- Background in sourcing transformation or process improvement.
- Proficiency in SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
- PMP or PgMP certification.
