Principal Technical Program Manager - TeraWave Network Software (Networking)

Location: Seattle, WA, or Cupertino, CA. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals lawfully admitted to the U.S. as refugees or granted asylum.

Base pay: $197,849–$276,987.90 annually for California and Washington applicants; ranges may differ by site.

What you will do

• Own the integrated roadmap and execution plan across SDN, Points of Presence, network platform, and wireless MAC software teams.
• Establish and improve sprint planning, milestone reviews, dependency management, risk tracking, and delivery reporting.
• Translate system architecture, product priorities, and constellation milestones into a rolling six-month software roadmap.
• Coordinate interfaces and integration readiness across software, silicon, hardware, systems engineering, testing, and operations.
• Identify critical-path items, develop mitigation plans, and drive decisions and escalations to closure.
• Report delivery health, schedule confidence, tradeoffs, risks, and recommended actions to engineering leadership and senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• At least 10 years of technical program management or equivalent program leadership experience with software engineering organizations.
• Experience leading complex, multi-team software programs from planning through integration, release, and operational deployment.
• Experience managing integrated roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risks, and critical paths.
• Experience coordinating software delivery with hardware, silicon, embedded systems, or other tightly coupled engineering organizations.
• U.S. citizenship, nationality, permanent residency, refugee status, or asylum status is required under export-control regulations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• Experience in networking, telecommunications, aerospace, embedded systems, or large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience spanning cloud software, embedded software, networking hardware, and operational infrastructure.
• Familiarity with routing, switching, wireless systems, SDN, network management, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience influencing technical teams and stakeholders without direct authority in fast-paced environments.
