TL;DR
Director of FP&A (Ad Tech): Owning financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial modeling for a multinational SaaS and usage-based revenue business with an accent on recurring revenue metrics, multi-entity planning, and executive reporting. Focus on building scenario models, explaining complex financial data to decision-makers, and designing scalable FP&A processes.
Location: Remote-first, based in the New York or Washington, DC metropolitan areas

What you will do
- Own rolling forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans covering revenue, operating expenses, and headcount.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering leaders on department budgets, spend tracking, and variance analysis.
- Prepare board, lender, and investor reporting, including KPI dashboards, churn analysis, and cash runway models.
- Build revenue models, scenario analyses, and unit economics models covering CAC, LTV, and net revenue retention.
- Support consolidated planning and reporting across US, UK, Irish, and Singapore entities.
- Improve FP&A systems and processes while mentoring and eventually managing the growing team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of FP&A experience, including ideally 2+ years in SaaS, ad tech, or another subscription- or usage-based revenue business.
- Advanced ability to build financial models from scratch in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience with ARR, net revenue retention, churn, CAC/LTV, and cohort analysis.
- Board, lender, or investor-facing reporting experience and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly.
- Experience working in a lean finance function with ownership of process development.
- Strong communication skills for presenting concise analysis to executives and non-finance stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Multi-entity or multinational experience, particularly with UK, Ireland, or APAC operations.
- Experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, Adaptive Insights, Pigment, or similar systems.
