Test Technician I

Location: Onsite at the Huntsville laboratory in Huntsville, Alabama; U.S. Persons only due to ITAR export-control requirements.

Provides testing, inspection, certification, and compliance services for manufacturing, power generation, aerospace, medical, and defense markets across the United States.

What you will do

• Assist specialists with analysis, sample preparation, and laboratory testing.
• Conduct vibration, shock, temperature, humidity, altitude, salt fog, and other environmental simulation tests.
• Collect and interpret data for routine pass/fail tests.
• Troubleshoot and maintain laboratory equipment and tools.
• Track work using laboratory technology and collaborate with internal departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; an associate’s degree is a plus.
• 0–2 years of experience in a materials testing laboratory environment.
• Basic technical ability to follow laboratory processes, test specifications, and routine testing procedures.
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment and tools under supervision.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices, laboratory ISO procedures, and safety requirements.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR requirements, including U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, refugee status, or asylum status in the United States.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in a technical or laboratory-related field.
