What you will do

• Lead and interface with customers during witness tests.
• Design instrumentation systems with uncertainty analysis to improve measurement accuracy and cost efficiency.
• Develop test setups, diagnostic programs, data-analysis software, and test-control equipment.
• Design and fabricate test fixtures and apparatus for product development and manufacturing.
• Analyze test data and prepare technical reports for engineering and management.
• Plan testing labor, schedules, equipment, procedures, and documentation from product design through initial production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, or a directly related field.
• Five to seven years of relevant experience.
• Military certification or an associate degree in engineering/electronics with at least two years of UPS unit experience may be accepted as an equivalent.
• Knowledge of analog and digital electronic circuitry and the ability to use standard electrical instruments.
• Physical ability to lift 30–45 pounds and frequently stand, kneel, crawl, stoop, bend, twist, and climb stairs or ladders.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; candidates requiring current or future sponsorship are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of high-power, three-phase electrical circuits.
