What you will do

• Partner with Tax leadership to re-engineer compliance and risk identification processes into automated, AI-first workflows.
• Design and deploy agentic tools using CoCo and SnowWork to reduce manual data gathering.
• Build and maintain a unified semantic data layer that serves as a single source of truth for tax-relevant information.
• Develop and deploy production-ready tax dashboards using Streamlit.
• Write and iterate on structured prompts and skill files to ensure high-accuracy model outputs.
• Automate tax filing cycles, data reconciliation, and audit-ready reporting exports.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or a technical finance-adjacent role.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Menlo Park, CA for a hybrid schedule (3 days/week).
• Extensive daily experience using LLM coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, CoCo) as a primary development tool.
• Proficiency in modern Python and SQL (CTEs, window functions).
• Experience shipping and maintaining Python applications in production.
• Strong understanding of data modeling (bronze/silver/gold) and semantic layer design.
• Familiarity with fiscal year concepts and core revenue metrics (ARR, NRR).

Nice to have

• Prior experience with the Snowflake Intelligence ecosystem (Cortex, SnowWork).
• Experience with dbt, vector similarity/embeddings, and reporting automation (openpyxl).
• Finance literacy and experience with tax compliance or filing cycles.
