What you will do

• Drive data warehouse strategy, optimizing Snowflake performance and cost efficiency.
• Own Silver and Gold layer modeling in dbt, ensuring clean, documented, and tested transformations.
• Build and govern the semantic layer to establish a single source of truth for metric definitions.
• Lead BI tooling strategy and enablement to facilitate trusted self-serve analytics.
• Partner with stakeholders and analysts to translate business questions into durable data products.
• Troubleshoot data quality issues and optimize the overall analytics infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of data/analytics engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a senior capacity.
• Expert proficiency with SQL and dbt, including strong command of dimensional modeling and medallion architectures.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses, specifically Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Experience with semantic/metrics layers (e.g., MetricFlow, Cube, LookML).
• Proficiency with Python, Git, and modern BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Sigma).
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with digital marketing data or the multifamily/real estate industry.
• Experience leading or contributing to a data warehouse migration.
• Experience with BI write-back, reverse ETL, or finance-focused analytics.
