Program and Market Analyst (Energy Efficiency/Data Analytics): Supporting data-driven decisions for commercial, industrial, and agricultural energy-efficiency programs by analyzing program datasets, market conditions, savings, and incentive spending with an accent on reporting, forecasting, and market intelligence. Focus on identifying performance trends and risks, contextualizing results against economic and policy changes, and producing actionable insights for program leadership and clients.
Location: Remote within the United States; Oregon preferred.
Salary: $70,000–$75,000 USD per year.

What you will do
- Create, review, and maintain dashboards and datasets tracking project activity, energy savings, and incentive spending.
- Develop monthly program, market penetration, and market insight reports for internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Analyze data to identify trends, leading indicators, risks, and opportunities for program improvement.
- Support monthly and annual forecasts for kWh savings and incentive or budget spending.
- Monitor tariffs, legislation, policy changes, and equipment or environmental standards affecting program participation.
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and presentations while maintaining data quality, accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in business, economics, data analytics, engineering, or a related field, plus 5 or more years of relevant experience; 8 or more years may substitute for a degree.
- Experience in energy-efficiency program analysis, market research, or a related analytical role.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with SQL and Power BI or Tableau; ability to work independently on complex projects and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or immigration support.

- Knowledge of statistical frameworks or tools such as R.
- Residence in Oregon.
