What you will do

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, including provisioning, patching, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Monitor infrastructure health, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, firewall, VPN, wireless, and cloud networking issues.
• Support Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, VMware/Hyper-V, AWS services, user provisioning, access requests, and endpoint security.
• Provide responsive internal technical support and maintain tickets, knowledge base articles, configurations, diagrams, and change records.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, backlog initiatives, automation, infrastructure maintenance, and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in systems administration, networking, or a related role.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Solid networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, VLANs, and firewalls.
• Foundational knowledge of cloud systems and networking, plus familiarity with Microsoft 365.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• AWS, CompTIA Network+/Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation and scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Familiarity with virtualization, backup solutions, ITIL frameworks, Connect Direct, or MQ systems.
• Experience in regulated financial services environments.
