Senior Systems Engineer (Finance)

Location: Tysons, Virginia; hybrid schedule with four days per week in the office. Employment authorization sponsorship and other immigration-related support are not available.

Salary: $100,000–$152,000 USD base salary

What you will do

• Own functional design and configuration across BillingPlatform, ERP, and connected upstream and downstream systems.
• Coordinate integrations using APIs, webhooks, middleware, and controlled data mappings for customers, subscriptions, invoices, and payments.
• Support ERP implementation activities, including design workshops, configuration validation, data migration, and dependency management.
• Lead change management, release governance, production support, ticket triage, and SLA adherence.
• Coordinate testing and UAT, troubleshoot production issues, and drive root-cause resolution.
• Maintain audit-ready processes and ensure system changes support SOX and ITGC requirements.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in finance systems, ERP, or systems integration roles.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON data exchange, and middleware such as Azure Logic Apps, Boomi, or Informatica.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting or automation with Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience with BillingPlatform or similar subscription billing systems and ERP platforms such as Dynamics 365 F&O or NetSuite.
• Experience supporting Finance or Accounting teams, production systems, ERP implementations, and SOX-controlled environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher education.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS or usage-based billing models.
• Experience integrating tax, financial close, expense management, payment, ecommerce, compliance, treasury, or reporting platforms.
• Experience using AI-assisted development, automation, testing, and productivity tools.
