Implementation Engineer (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: Remote, US. Evening or weekend flexibility may be required during critical system cutovers. Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are not available.

Salary: $165K–$185K per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Build and customize Boomi processes connecting hirify.global with client PMS, ERP, and other business-critical systems.
• Monitor integration health, investigate alerts and data-flow failures, and resolve Level 2 technical escalations.
• Support billing-system migrations and ERP transitions, including zero-downtime cutovers and urgent go-live support.
• Perform root cause analysis, improve integration performance, and implement preventative measures.
• Collaborate with Principal Partner Engineers and Engineering teams on complex incidents, tooling, and code-level fixes.
• Communicate directly with client technical contacts, coordinate resolutions, and provide incident status updates.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in integration engineering, DevOps, technical support, or a similar technical role.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA integration experience, including ERP architecture, BTP, REST APIs, and connected-system troubleshooting.
• Experience with Boomi, MuleSoft, Zapier, or similar iPaaS platforms; REST APIs, SQL, databases, logs, and monitoring systems.
• Ability to trace data flows, validate and reconcile data, analyze root causes, and troubleshoot synchronization and ETL processes.
• Clear client-facing communication, calm incident response, and willingness to support time-sensitive billing operations.
• Must be based in the US; visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with legal technology, professional services software, or time and billing systems such as Workday, Aderant, Elite 3E, or Clio.
• Knowledge of SSO, SAML, OAuth, Microsoft 365 integrations, and enterprise SaaS applications.
• Scripting or automation experience with Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similar tools.
• Experience with Jira, Linear, ServiceNow, Postman, curl, or comparable tools.
