Location: Hybrid role with four days per week in the office in Overland Park, Kansas; Chicago, Illinois; Kansas City, Missouri; or New York, New York, United States.

Salary: $131,750–$170,500 per year, plus potential annual incentive compensation and long-term equity participation.

What you will do

• Manage and improve Linux-based infrastructure for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Design, deploy, and maintain on-premises Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
• Develop system-level software, middleware, APIs, RPM packages, and internal repositories.
• Automate infrastructure workflows with Python, Bash, and configuration management tools.
• Collaborate with Application Support, Development, and Security teams on secure CI/CD and platform integration.
• Resolve complex operating system, network, and container-runtime issues while supporting on-call operations and documenting platform architectures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Linux systems administration and infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Production experience managing Kubernetes, preferably on bare-metal or on-premises environments.
• Production experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong Python and Bash scripting and automation skills.
• Knowledge of Linux internals, kernel tuning, performance diagnostics, infrastructure protocols, and services.
• Experience with SaltStack, Puppet, or Ansible; observability tools and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitLab.

Nice to have

• RHCE or LFCE certification.
• Experience with containerd, Docker, registry management, GitOps, ArgoCD, or Flux.
• Knowledge of CIS benchmarks, STIGs, security compliance, regulated environments, or low-latency systems.
