What you will do
- Integrate, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot complex analytical instrumentation combining hardware and software.
- Support prototype development, system bring-up, design validation, and system-level performance testing.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, fluidic, and chemical subsystem issues and implement reliability improvements.
- Develop test plans, validation protocols, system specifications, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with R&D, chemistry, applications, manufacturing, service, and field teams during product development and production ramp.
- Support customer issue resolution and occasional technical escalations at customer or supplier sites.
Requirements
- Doctorate with 0 years, master's degree with 3 years, or bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience.
- Degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Hands-on experience with system integration, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of analytical instruments or chemical process systems, including the ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with chemical analysis, electrochemical systems, spectroscopy, or laboratory instrumentation.
- Knowledge of ICP, IC, HPLC, titration, or similar analytical techniques.
- Familiarity with fluidics, wetted-material compatibility, and chemical handling systems.
- Experience in semiconductor, analytical instrumentation, or related industries.
- Programming or data-analysis experience.
