Product Development Technician (Materials)

Location: Irvine, California 92606, United States

Salary: $68,400–$72,800 per year

What you will do

• Conduct experiments and technical procedures for developing materials used in electronics applications.
• Support special product-development projects under supervisor guidance.
• Apply laboratory research techniques, safety regulations, and accurate record keeping.
• Gather and analyze data using the Albert digital system.
• Provide timely updates and technical communications to supervisors.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or Polymer Materials.
• Hands-on interest in working with machines and tools and developing new ideas.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, communication, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
• Project management skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• Previous laboratory experience.
