What you will do

• Design new chemical processes and optimize existing unit operations to improve efficiency and material yield.
• Manage rotating equipment (pumps, compressors) and collaborate with reliability teams to maximize uptime.
• Analyze high-volume process data using tools like Seeq to diagnose issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead investigations into operational problems and process deviations to ensure production targets are met.
• Perform Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) to maintain strict safety and environmental compliance.
• Manage engineering projects for process improvement and collaborate on DCS/PLC automation implementation.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in chemical engineering principles and unit operations.
• Proven experience in chemical plant or high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Expertise with rotating equipment and process control systems (DCS, PLC).
• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret complex operational data.
• Strong project management skills to execute technical projects on time and budget.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving up to 50 lbs and climbing stairs.
