Senior Software Engineering Manager (CRM)

Location: Hybrid in Mounds View, Minnesota, with on-site work required 4 days per week; less than 10% travel. Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for roles below Principal level.

Salary: $175,200–$262,800 USD base salary, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Lead the data services software organization and RPE bedside monitor software organization within Cardiac Rhythm Management.
• Build and develop high-performing engineering teams through hiring, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and career development.
• Own product capabilities, multi-year roadmaps, release planning, staffing, budgets, and execution.
• Establish engineering practices for quality, observability, security, automation, CI/CD, and operational excellence.
• Improve platform reliability, performance, scalability, cost efficiency, and data quality.
• Partner with Product Managers, Program Managers, Architects, business leaders, contractors, and vendors to prioritize investments and deliver compliant software products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics with at least 7 years of technical experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of technical experience and 5 years of demonstrated management experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Mounds View, Minnesota, 4 days per week.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required; sponsorship is limited to Principal-level roles and above.
• Experience leading software engineering teams, with accountability for product quality, execution, staffing, budgets, and compliance.
• Knowledge of modern software engineering practices, including automated testing, DevSecOps, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD.
• Ability to collaborate with product, program, architecture, business, and external vendor stakeholders.

Nice to have

• MedTech experience or experience as an embedded software leader or developer.
• Experience managing geographically distributed software teams.
• Experience leading data services or data engineering teams.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP data ecosystems, distributed processing, ETL/ELT, streaming, data lakes, APIs, and microservices.
• Familiarity with Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, Delta Lake, Airflow, or dbt.
