Engineering Manager, CustomerLake Profile Agents (AI)

Location: New York City, New York, United States

Salary: $190,000–$261,250 USD annually, plus potential annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own delivery of Profile Agents, from identity resolution and agentic pipeline generation to production-quality Customer 360 outputs.
• Hire and grow a senior engineering team and establish the foundation for scaling the product beyond private preview.
• Define product vision, technical direction, architecture, and engineering processes with Product and the VP of Engineering.
• Set quality standards for agent-generated pipelines, including autonomous actions, human review, and correctness validation against customer data.
• Work directly with customers and design partners to translate Customer 360 challenges into engineering priorities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing high-performing engineering teams.
• 8+ years of experience building and operating production data or distributed systems.
• Experience delivering data engineering products such as ETL, MDM, or data quality tooling.
• Hands-on experience applying agents or LLMs to data engineering problems, including matching, entity resolution, or pipeline generation.
• Experience taking products from 0 to 1 and defining architecture and processes without an established playbook.
• Experience scaling complex data services for enterprise customers with strong reliability and governance requirements; a BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
