Proposal Subcontracts Lead (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite or hybrid in Buffalo/East Aurora, NY; Gilbert, AZ; Arvada, CO; or Salt Lake City, UT. Remote work may be considered outside these areas within the United States. Travel to customers and hirify.global sites may be required. The role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Salary: $85,000–$130,000 USD.

What you will do

• Coordinate and maintain material supporting data and analyses for proposal teams.
• Ensure compliance with hirify.global estimating procedures, FAR, TINA, and internal proposal policies.
• Analyze bills of material and coordinate timely responses to proposal information requests.
• Support material pricing strategies, supplier competition, and commerciality analyses with Supply Chain and Cost Engineering teams.
• Provide training and compliance reviews for proposal material data, including price and cost analyses.
• Support audits, fact-finding, customer negotiations, and program budget baseline activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant experience in supply chain, cost engineering, material estimating, material analysis, pricing, proposals, or contracts.
• Advanced knowledge of FAR, DFARS, TINA, and Cost Accounting Standards.
• Experience with proposal compliance, audit responses, and certified proposal cost estimating.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills, including supplier data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and willingness to travel when needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with bill of material proposal compliance.
