TL;DR
Nuclear Contract Manager 3 (Nuclear Supply Chain): Managing procurement and contract activities throughout the lifecycle of engineering, fabrication, testing, manufacturing, and construction contracts with an accent on supplier negotiations, commercial risk management, and contract governance. Focus on developing RFP, RFI, and RFQ packages, resolving contractual deviations, coordinating with Legal and Finance, and ensuring compliant contract closeout.
Location: Fully remote within the contiguous United States; the department is based in Houston, Texas. National and local travel may be required.
Salary: $99,175–$119,694 annually; full pay range of $88,915–$139,073 annually.

What you will do
- Draft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute NDAs, subcontracts, consulting agreements, licensing agreements, master services agreements, task orders, and purchase orders.
- Serve as the primary contractual liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers, resolving deviations and securing approvals.
- Negotiate directly with supplier attorneys and purchasing teams, including redlined contract recommendations.
- Develop and manage RFP, RFI, and RFQ packages while coordinating scope and technical requirements with ordering departments.
- Maintain contract records, correspondence, supplier information, changes, and status reports.
- Coordinate contract reviews with Legal and Finance, provide guidance to project teams, and manage contract closeout, extensions, and renewals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field; up to nine years of directly applicable experience may substitute for the degree.
- At least five years of full-time experience in nuclear contract management within the nuclear industry.
- Eligibility to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810 is required.
- Knowledge of quality assurance regulations and standards, including 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
- Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel nationally and locally and perform regular office-related physical activities with or without reasonable accommodation.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree.
- Certified Purchasing Manager certification.
