Senior Mainframe Automation Engineer

Location: Poland, with the position available in Katowice, Poznań, Kraków, Opole, Wrocław, Lublin, Gdańsk, Warszawa, or Bydgoszcz.

What you will do

• Lead migrations from CA OPS/MVS to Tivoli Systems Automation for z/OS and from CA Automation Point to SAIOM.
• Configure and implement policy-based Systems Automation solutions for z/OS environments.
• Develop and maintain automation rules, REXX execs, and System Automation Policy Database configurations.
• Support product installation and configuration and optimize system startup, shutdown, and recovery processes.
• Improve the availability and responsiveness of critical systems through proactive automation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and document configurations, processes, and migration steps.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a mainframe operations, service, consultancy, or support environment.
• Advanced hands-on knowledge of Tivoli Systems Automation for z/OS.
• Proficiency with TSO, ISPF, and JCL.
• Ability to write and maintain REXX scripts.
• Working knowledge of the System Automation Policy Database.
• Experience with z/OS automation migrations and NetView for z/OS.
