Mainframe Storage Administrator

Location: Remote from Pennsylvania, United States; travel requirement is 0%–25%.

What you will do

• Learn and support the implementation of mainframe storage hardware and software.
• Perform daily mainframe storage operations, production monitoring, and technical support.
• Analyze, design, test, code, and implement technical solutions with minimal defects.
• Collaborate with IT, product, analytics, business, and architecture stakeholders to deliver aligned solutions.
• Document technical processes, participate in reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions, and report progress or technical issues.
• Participate in the weekly on-call rotation and maintain compliance with required standards and procedures.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience analyzing, designing, testing, and implementing technical solutions or providing production support.
• At least 3 years of technical problem-solving, solution implementation, and team or project collaboration experience.
• At least 3 years of knowledge of computer science concepts, operating systems, and development languages or scripting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience and education.
• Must work remotely from Pennsylvania, United States.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, solve problems analytically, collaborate cross-functionally, and learn new technologies.

Nice to have

• 1–3 years of experience with TS77XX and DS88XX storage devices.
• Experience with OAM, SRDF, CSM, GDPS, Dino UPM, IBM Spectrum Suite products, and third-party storage products.
• ServiceNow experience for problem, change, and incident management.
• Linux and SKLM experience.
