Senior Mainframe Automation Specialist (AI)

What you will do

• Maintain, upgrade, and transform z/OS automation software using Broadcom OPS/MVS, MainView Auto Operator, IBM AF OPER, and System Automation.
• Develop REXX-based automation solutions and integrate z/OS automation with z/VM, OMEGAMON, SYSVIEW, MainView, ServiceNow, Remedy, and Netcool.
• Install, customize, and upgrade GDPS environments, including integration of new systems.
• Implement, test, and validate Hyperswap, disaster recovery, and high-availability processes.
• Prepare and validate mainframe, z/OS, IMS, CICS, DB2, MQ, and related software and hardware upgrades.
• Collaborate with technicians, clients, and stakeholders to prioritize incidents, maintain automated change solutions, and recommend modernization opportunities.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of mainframe automation tools, including Broadcom OPS/MVS, MainView Auto Operator, IBM AF OPER, and System Automation.
• Advanced REXX programming skills and experience with z/OS automation software conversion and transformation.
• Experience with GDPS, Hyperswap, disaster recovery, high availability, and mainframe upgrades.
• Knowledge of change and incident management tools for creating and maintaining automated solutions.
• Ability to communicate in English and/or Spanish.
• Practical AI knowledge and implementation experience.
