MF Operator (IBM Mainframe)

What you will do

• Monitor and operate IBM Mainframe production systems to maintain availability and reliability.
• Perform job scheduling, batch processing, console monitoring, and system health checks.
• Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate production incidents.
• Support business-critical applications and coordinate incident resolution with infrastructure, application support, database, storage, and network teams.
• Execute operational procedures, disaster recovery activities, scheduled maintenance, and change management processes.
• Maintain documentation, logs, and runbooks while participating in on-call rotations and critical production events.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in IBM Mainframe operations.
• Strong knowledge of z/OS, JES2/JES3, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, and IBM Mainframe console operations.
• Experience with CA-7, Control-M, Tivoli Workload Scheduler, or equivalent scheduling tools.
• Familiarity with CICS, DB2, IMS, RACF, batch processing, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, including the ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to work shifts and provide 24/7 production support when required.
