Engineering Manager - Quality and Delivery (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $150,289–$225,434 base salary per year

What you will do

• Own end-to-end engineering delivery for new customer implementations, including sequencing, staffing, dependencies, risks, and commitments.
• Lead production health activities, incident response, root cause analysis, defect reduction, observability, alerting, and operational readiness.
• Deliver platform integration work and the team’s scope of the Azure-to-AWS migration while maintaining availability and customer experience.
• Set standards for code review, testing, CI/CD, automated testing, release practices, data access controls, and auditability.
• Establish and improve AI-assisted development practices across coding, testing, review, debugging, and documentation.
• Hire, coach, retain, and develop engineers while maintaining accountability and healthy technical debate.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years managing engineering teams with ownership of delivery, hiring, performance, and development.
• Ability to independently review designs and code, assess API and data boundaries, and evaluate migration and reliability tradeoffs.
• Experience delivering predictably against external commitments and deadlines.
• Experience operating production systems with real customers, including incident response, quality management, and customer-impacting escalations.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and team-level adoption practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with both AWS and Azure, including multi-cloud or cross-cloud migrations.
• Experience delivering enterprise B2B SaaS products with implementation or onboarding cycles.
• Experience working with regulated or sensitive data.
