What you will do

• Act as the primary technical focal point for engineering programmes, including direct customer engagement
• Lead and contribute to engineering design, analysis, and development activities
• Plan, schedule, and deliver engineering work aligned with cost, quality, and time constraints
• Provide technical leadership and resolve complex technical issues with robust engineering solutions
• Oversee engineering documentation (drawings, reports, specifications) and drive continuous improvement
• Support new product development from concept through introduction and liaise with manufacturing, quality, and commercial functions

Requirements

• Experience in a senior or lead engineering role within aerospace or another highly regulated industry
• Strong technical expertise in a relevant discipline (mechanical, hydraulic systems, actuation, stress, or design)
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex engineering programmes
• Experience acting as a technical authority with customer-facing responsibilities
• Knowledge of aerospace regulations, airworthiness requirements, and certification processes
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance required and must be maintained
