A recruiting firm is representing a leading fintech innovator in the Tampa Bay area.

What you will do

• Develop and execute financial strategies covering fundraising, Series B and C planning, and potential mergers and acquisitions.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, burn rate optimization, budgeting, and financial planning to improve runway efficiency.
• Lead monthly and quarterly reporting for the Board of Directors using metrics such as ARR, CAC, and LTV.
• Develop pricing, go-to-market, and growth investment strategies based on market, customer, and product data.
• Act as the primary financial liaison with investors, venture debt providers, and board members.
• Lead regulatory, tax, mentoring, and performance initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive financial experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role within fintech or a B2B startup environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proven success increasing revenue and meeting revenue targets.
• Experience making data-driven decisions based on business metrics.
• Exceptional communication, critical thinking, strategic, and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and inspire teams in a rapidly changing environment.
