Vice President, Software Development (Microsoft)

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio; office-based with occasional work from home available for eligible positions after training.

What you will do

• Lead the global Software Development department and drive application modernization.
• Identify software solutions that improve processes for internal and external customers.
• Oversee the design, development, and timely delivery of proprietary applications for clinical trials, laboratory operations, and other business functions.
• Hire, lead, train, evaluate, and retain software engineering staff.
• Analyze emerging and existing technologies to improve software applications and platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of software development leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects and teams and delivering software solutions on time and under budget.
• Technical development experience with the Microsoft technology stack and web technologies such as Angular.
• Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Experience leading global teams and working in clinical or regulated environments is preferred.
