Vice President Software Engineering (AI)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of 10+ software engineers.
• Design and implement platforms, calculation engines, and analytical tools for P&L, capital, balance sheet, liquidity, and regulatory reporting.
• Modernize the firmwide data reconciliation platform into an AI-powered, fully cloud-native solution.
• Build systems that reconcile, normalize, govern, and validate high-volume data across multiple sources.
• Develop technical designs, testing strategies, and implementation plans.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define workflows, data requirements, specifications, and reusable cross-divisional solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Proven experience managing and mentoring junior engineers.
• Experience leading complex cloud migrations and legacy-system transformations.
• Experience with AWS, Java, Python, RESTful services, Maven or Gradle, Apache Spark, big data, React or Next.js, GitLab, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Familiarity with LLMs, AI-powered automation, and prompt engineering concepts.
