Vice President of Information Technology (AI)

Location: Based in Olema’s San Francisco office; regular travel to Boston and Ireland is required as needed.

Base pay: $335,000–$365,000 annually, plus equity, bonus, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define and execute the enterprise IT strategy, applications roadmap, architecture, cloud, SaaS, data, and technology lifecycle standards.
• Own reliable IT operations across infrastructure, networks, identity and access management, endpoints, collaboration platforms, service desk, telecommunications, and business continuity.
• Lead technology and data readiness for regulatory approval and the first potential United States pharmaceutical product launch.
• Partner with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Quality, and other functions on launch-critical systems and integrations.
• Own cybersecurity, privacy, regulated systems, audit readiness, vendor risk, disaster recovery, incident response, and compliance programs.
• Define the enterprise data and artificial intelligence strategy, governance framework, secure platform foundation, and responsible adoption roadmap.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of biotechnology and pharmaceutical processes from development through commercialization.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft and O365, enterprise applications, architecture, cloud and SaaS platforms, data, cybersecurity, service management, and responsible artificial intelligence.
• Knowledge of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, SOX, privacy, validation, data integrity, vendor risk management, HIPAA, and GDPR.
• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree in business, information technology, science, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
• At least 15 years of progressive IT experience, including senior leadership in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
• Experience leading IT operations, cybersecurity, regulated systems, commercial platforms, complex integrations, public-company environments, and at least one United States pharmaceutical product launch.
