Sr Manager, Software Engineering

Location: Hybrid in Chicago, Illinois, with onsite work at least two days per week at 70 W Madison St. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Salary: $150,000–$165,000 annually, plus potential incentive compensation and discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, integration, delivery, and support of enterprise-scale commercial client onboarding and compliance applications.
• Oversee solutions for digital onboarding, workflow orchestration, KYC/AML integration, document management, e-signatures, and identity and access integration.
• Direct downstream connectivity with FIS core banking systems and other third-party vendor platforms.
• Guide new builds, enhancements, modernization initiatives, and enterprise application architecture.
• Lead and coach Software Engineers while partnering with business, product, compliance, architecture, security, and vendor stakeholders.
• Drive secure API design, cloud/platform delivery, SDLC, DevOps, release management, and environment promotion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive application development experience, including leadership of enterprise banking platforms and integration-heavy solutions.
• 3+ years of experience managing people or technical teams.
• Experience with client onboarding, client lifecycle management, compliance, KYC/AML, workflow and case management, document management, or e-signature solutions.
• Strong knowledge of API and integration architecture, REST/JSON services, event-driven and batch integration patterns, Microsoft Azure, and distributed systems.
• Experience with vendor integrations, enterprise ecosystems, SDLC, DevOps, release management, and technical team leadership.
