Sr Manager, Software Engineering (Microsoft .NET)

Location: Hybrid in downtown Chicago, Illinois; onsite at least two days per week. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $150,000–$165,000 annually, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, integration, delivery, and support of enterprise-scale commercial client onboarding and compliance applications.
• Manage and coach software engineers delivering digital onboarding, workflow orchestration, document management, and identity and access integrations.
• Build secure APIs and downstream connectivity to FIS core banking systems and other enterprise platforms.
• Lead modernization initiatives, new builds, enhancements, third-party vendor integrations, and platform delivery.
• Partner with business, product, compliance, architecture, security, and vendor stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of application development experience, including enterprise banking platforms and integration-heavy solutions.
• 3+ years of experience leading people or managing technical teams.
• Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, JSON, Entity Framework, React, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, REST/JSON services, event-driven and batch integrations, Microsoft Azure, distributed systems, DevOps, release management, and environment promotion.
• Experience with banking or financial services platforms, workflow and case management, document management, e-signature solutions, and vendor integrations.
