Salary: CAD 60,000–85,000 per year.

What you will do

• Conduct site visits, field-level inspections, food safety audits, observations, and risk assessments across Canadian operations.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of occupational health, safety, environmental, and food safety management systems.
• Lead and support incident and accident investigations, prepare reports, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Deliver on-site and virtual training covering WHMIS, food safety, allergen awareness, workplace violence prevention, and related topics.
• Support internal, external, contractor, COR, and ISO audits by verifying documentation, resources, and program compliance.
• Report HSE performance trends, deficiencies, and risks to leadership with actionable recommendations and completion targets.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in occupational health and safety and/or food safety, preferably in field-based, multi-site, hospitality, food service, or remote-site operations.
• Practical experience conducting food safety inspections or audits and supporting corrective actions in a commercial, hospitality, or institutional setting.
• Valid Advanced Food Safety Certification and post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Business, Trades & Technology, or a related discipline; equivalent field experience may be considered.
• Valid Canadian driver’s license and the ability to travel extensively throughout Canada, including frequent interprovincial travel.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills, knowledge of Canadian occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, and familiarity with provincial disability management protocols.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Train-the-Trainer certification in Food Safety.
• NCSO, CRSP, HSA, or another occupational health and safety certification.
• French language skills for potential support of Quebec-based operations.
