What you will do

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE programs to nurture a safe and healthy workplace.
• Identify and assess workplace risks, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze incident data to identify risk trends and establish preventative action plans.
• Manage WSIB claims and return-to-work plans in collaboration with Human Resources.
• Lead JHSC meetings, conduct workplace inspections, and provide safety training for new hires.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive and strengthen the site-wide safety culture.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of HSE experience.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Bradford, ON.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of OHS laws, regulations, and best practices (WSIB, WHMIS, etc.).
• Strong communication, presentation, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to prioritize safety.

Nice to have

• CRSP designation.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, or Food Production.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and incident reporting software.
