EHS Specialist (Manufacturing)

Salary: $45.67 – $55.29 per hour CAD

What you will do

• Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local EHS regulations including WorkSafeBC and environmental permits.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead complex incident investigations and root-cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs aligned with the EHS training matrix.
• Maintain accurate documentation of EHS policies, records, and compliance reports.
• Identify improvement opportunities for EHS programs and manage actionable plans to completion.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, or electrical environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Must be able to work 100% in-office in Surrey, BC.
• Strong knowledge of machine guarding, LOTO, working at heights, and powered industrial trucks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and conduct physical site inspections.
