Facilities Operations Technician

Location: Onsite in Ruston, Louisiana, with travel to Origin Bank locations and within the local community; flexible evening and weekend hours are required.

What you will do

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and walkthroughs of buildings, grounds, vehicles, trailers, and facility equipment.
• Process maintenance requests, preventive maintenance tasks, equipment records, invoices, and reimbursements through ticketing and work order systems.
• Coordinate vendors, repairs, signage, banners, event setups, furniture movement, and supply handling while minimizing disruption to banking operations.
• Support Operational Risk and the Emergency Response Management Team during disaster recovery situations and document resilience-related procedures.
• Provide backup mailroom support, including USPS and interoffice mail distribution, FedEx shipments, and deliveries to local banking centers and the U.S. Post Office.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Two to three years of general building or property maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds or more, climb ladders, and perform standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Regular attendance, moderate travel, and flexible availability for evening and weekend work are required.
• Professionalism, confidentiality, attention to detail, and customer service skills in a banking environment.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme weather conditions.
