Location: Farmingdale, New York, United States; onsite
Salary: $51,833–$81,929 per year. An annual or quarterly bonus and shift premium may apply depending on the position assignment and shift.

What you will do
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, equipment, electrical systems, and physical structures.
- Diagnose mechanical devices and electrical circuits, dismantle equipment, inspect parts, and replace defective components.
- Operate lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
- Install and repair 110V, 208V, and 277V electrical cabling, boxes, switches, and outlets.
- Perform light plumbing and construction work, including repairs to sinks, toilets, valves, pipes, doors, sheetrock, and floor tiles.
- Respond to snow removal needs, building emergencies, and other assigned facilities duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or vocational training.
- 4–8 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Understanding of commercial equipment operation and the ability to troubleshoot heating, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Basic understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- OSHA 10-hour course certification required, or the ability to obtain it within six months of employment.
- Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods and lift at least 35 pounds; ITAR-related access is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
