What you will do

• Design and implement efficient manufacturing workflows for UAV assembly and component production.
• Analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks and reduce cycle time, scrap, and rework.
• Optimize material flow, line balancing, and floor layout using lean manufacturing concepts.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure product manufacturability.
• Lead lean initiatives including 5S, value stream mapping, and Kaizen events.
• Maintain technical documentation including SOPs, work instructions, and PFMEAs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in aerospace industrial or manufacturing engineering.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident to comply with ITAR/EAR regulations.
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong knowledge of machining, composites, assembly, and automation methods.
• Familiarity with AS9100, ITAR, and ISO compliance standards.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• PMP certification.
