What you will do

• Supervise and lead all 3rd shift laser cutting and CNC punch press personnel.
• Execute daily production schedules while ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality, and on-time completion.
• Monitor production KPIs including machine utilization, labor efficiency, scrap, and downtime.
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance to resolve production issues and optimize nesting.
• Train, mentor, and develop operators on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (Associate degree in Manufacturing or Engineering Technology preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in laser cutting, CNC punching, or metal fabrication.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and ERP/MRP systems.
• Legal authorization to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with fiber laser technology and automated material handling systems.
• Experience with Trumpf, Amada, Bystronic, Salvagnini, or Prima Power equipment.
• Knowledge of nesting software and programming optimization.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
